DEODORANT 101
A Gentle Guide
Sweat is healthy. Odor doesn't have to be.
When & Why
There's no age rule—it depends on puberty. Some kids need it at 8, others not until their teens. If you notice body odor after play, it's time.
Sweat = Cooling
Sweating is how their body cools down. Blocking it isn't the answer.
Bacteria = The Culprit
Sweat has no smell. Bacteria eating sweat proteins creates the odor.
Don't Block — Neutralize
Stop the bacteria from feasting, not the sweat from flowing.
Deodorant vs. Antiperspirant
They look the same, but work very differently.
Antiperspirants
Use Aluminum to plug sweat ducts, stopping sweat from coming out.
Why avoid for kids? Kids need to sweat to cool down. Many parents prefer to avoid aluminum.
Deodorants ✦
Allow natural sweating but neutralize bacteria so there's no smell. The safe, kid-friendly approach.
Smart Ingredients
Zinc & Magnesium
Natural minerals that absorb odor and inhibit bacterial growth.
Prebiotics
Feed "good" bacteria so smelly bacteria can't take over.
NO Baking Soda — Very alkaline, causes red itchy rashes on sensitive underarm skin.
BouncePop Deodorant Tips
Confidence in a bottle (without the chemicals).
"Glide N Go" Format
Roll-on goes exactly where needed. No inhaling, no dragging.
Dry Skin is Key
Apply to clean, dry skin. If sweaty, wipe first, then roll!
Gym Bag Essential
Small enough for a school bag. Quick refresh before or after P.E.
Give it 2 Minutes
Let it dry before putting on a shirt. Product stays on skin, not clothes.
